Hey gang. Like many of you here, I was leery of buying Gateway, but have gotten some recommendations from people I trust, so I took the plunge.

Bought a MX7515 while in BB looking for a system. Probably the first one sold in Wisconsin (I hate being on the bleeding edge)

Didn't even realize it had XP Home, and spent the next 24 hours (literally) loading XP Pro, managing to get drivers, and preinstalled software from the recovery disks, etc.

    Working pretty well now.

But - the manual has nothing to do with the machine, and the GW site never heard of this box.

I noticed many of you have other 7500 series GW's and they don't show up on the GW site either.

Where do you get support/tech documentation for these boxes online? Are they unsupported by GW? (That would annoy me A LOT).

    Thanks

Unfortunately, they pretty much ARE unsupported by Gateway. Any problems you have with it need to be taken up with Best Buy.

The 7510GX is on the site if you run a search for it.

The best place for support for this series is right here, though.
