First off,Im sorry for putting this in gaming but I really dont know where to put it, anyways my question is; how long do I have to get the black tie protection from best buy from when I purchased my notebook? How much is it for the 7805u? And how long do I have to "drop" it before its over?

    That's geeksquad's third party warranty.
    I hate geeksquad so much.
Sorry I couldn't really be of any help.

You don't have to take on their services. In fact, even their extended warranties is optional.

They push it hard on you. If you are weak minded you will give in the pressure...

14 days. If you get the accidental coverage it is worth it, if you plan on "dropping it" before the plan expires.

no they don't, not here anyways, when i bought mine the guy ask "do you want to buy and extended warranty?" i said no and that was the end of it. same with the guy that was working in the computer section. I didn't have the money for the warranty anyways, but they didn't know that.

I'm assuming you'd have within the return period to get the warranty, but i have no idea.
