Hey guys, I was planning on picking up the P-7805u from Best Buy tommorow for 1150.00. I was just wondering if the current models still have the 1900x1200 WUXGA instead of the advertised 1440x900 WXGA screens. Also, have they made any other changes after the initial release?
Thanks

use the search button dude... it's all over the forum. The old batches has the 1920x1200 screen. The newer ones doesn't. the newer batches have the 1440x900

LOL for E. Love the link and plan to use it often.
Too bad for the 7805 res. WXGA is good but I do love my WUXGA.
The "NoSquint" extension for Firefox is the cat's meow on WUXGA by the way. -
Agreed! I dropped IE about 2 months ago, FINALLY. I fell in love with FireFox
And the no squint is def a huge advantage.. it's either that or I scoot close to the screen.

check this thread for the possibility you can make an "educated guess" as to which SN's may have a WUXGA. -
you made that way too easy.

Just trying to run up my post count, E-wrecked.

Yeahh E-wrecked some of us like to be the taxi that takes the people to the destination, not the gas attendant that says "That way" and points. ;]
Just bustin your chops
For the OP. Just call the best buy and ask them to read you the batch #'s and look them up on the forum JohnWhoTwo posted. -
Hey..either way, if the lost person finds direction.. they're more empowered if they put in half the effort.
-
And If they crash along the way when givin' the long route by someone (In this case, him getting the screen he doesn't really want when he could've had the one he wants and just didn't know it because he was unable to find the batch numbers), its on your hands
Lol

No long routes here.. straight to the point

Haha, after a few curves maybe
Think we should stop before we get killed by mod's and both of our names say BANNED in red -
Or he could just buy the 7801u from newegg assuming its still on sale for 1199 shipped... As long as he isn't in TN, NJ or CA it'll actually be cheaper since there's no tax.
And in fact it is
