Im going to be getting one of these next week if I can find the newer version and i've seen a lot of talk about updating the bios.

I read that you need a bootable usb drive or something. What is that exactly? How can I tell if my junky college 1gb drive would work? Or can someone link me to a cheap one from BB or something?

    Thanks

it will work you will just need to reformat it in a certain way to make it bootable, there is a guide somewhere, use the search.

If you are talking about the 7811fx bios then you can easily use the windows installer. Frankly though a newer machine will come with it already installed.
