If I bought the P-7811 online, would I be able to return it to a Best Buy store?

Hello...It's been a while since I was here ok...

It depends on each store, most tore will let you do it, but they don't do it for you multiple times. If you get an unit that is defective, I suggest you to RETURN not exchange. Than you can either buy one in store, but if they do not have it. Don't buy it online... I suggest that you don't

    My experience

first order .7811fx(bestbuy.com) -> 7811fx(Exchange In Store) -> 7811f(EIS) -> none in stock (full refund In store)

second order. 7811fx(bestbuy.com)->none in store exchange with Toshiba Qosmio[such a disappointment by the way] -> my toshiba was also defected with dead pixel but they declined my return and even I offered to pay restocking fee. Now I'm waiting for an email so I can send it back....

Overall, for me (I hope I don't offend anybody.)Bestbuy sux.

Their policy is made up policy they can do whatever they want to prevent the return. I hope you have a better luck than I did

    EDIT:
    Called 1-888-best-buy

the customer service lady contacted the manager of my local store and they decided to help me now.

THEY WERE LYING that online purchase cannot be returned in local store. It also says it on the website

    link

    EDIT2

LINK Here is another link that has to do with online purchase return. Don't let them lie to you

ha, things just aren't working out for me...I called Best Buy and they said not only has their store run out of stock, but so has their warehouse so it could be quite a while before they get any new ones. Then I go to check out the website only to find out that the price has shot back up to $1400+. Looks like I might just have to wait it out for another week or so until it's back in stock/on sale

At my local BestBuy, they can get to the Web from any cash register or PC. I've never had a problem with a store not honoring something I was able to show them on the web. The service manager at my local Best Buy told me point blank they anything I bought online could be returned at any Best Buy as long as I had the invoice. I could also avoid shipping charges by having an online order shipped to the nearest BestBuy. Maybe people are only that nice where I live?
