i have a Gateway ML3108b but it has to low RAM for vista basic.... The Current RAM is 512MB

I was wondering if i added another 1GB of RAM.... will that help?

All i need on my laptop is to run msn, 2d games like e.g. maplestory, online games...etc... at the same time...... without laggin or slowing...

Will a extra 1GB RAM help??

    THanks if Helped ;)

1 GB will defentely help, but 2 GB will be better, and i would suggest going for a 2 GB stick.

Assuming you are using 2 x 256 sticks, i recommend buying a 2 GB stick, from newegg.com if you can install your self or have someone that can install for you, or from best buy, CC, or compusa, because i think they will install it for you for free if you buy from the. This way your total ram will come out to be 2256 instead of 512, for just the cost of the 2 GB stick, which should be like...30-40 bucks.

But if you still just want that 1 GB, buy a 1 GB stick, so your final ram will come out to be 1256.
