I bought a P-7805u a couple of days ago. There's a couple of things with this laptop that I can't seem to figure out.
First of all, how do I turn off the touch pad? On my Toshibas, there was always a small icon in the tool bar. How can I recreate that?
Second, when my battery runs out, I get absolutely no warning at all. The LCD just goes black, but the orange lights stay on. If I plug it in, the LCD remains black. In order to get it to turn on again, I have to turn it off with the power button. I know that can't be good, and there HAS to be an easier way.
Third...not really a technical question. Has anyone found a bag to fit this monster big laptop? If so, can you give me the model name please? I made a couple of stops today, and everything I found was about 1" too small. I'm going on a trip soon, so I definitely need to find a bag.
I'm a complete technical moron, so feel free to explain things to me as such.I really appreciate any help.

follow this link and download the driver. i installed the driver and it works perfectly to disable the touchpad when a mouse is plugged in.

When my battery was getting low the power icon showed a small yellow caution sign, I believe with an exclamation mark in it.
I am looking for a good bag too, so I'll be watching this thread. BestBuy has one that it'll fit in but not enough padding (in my opinion). Expensive too. $79. It is the Targus Clamshell Platinum. -

I use this guy, he's served me well.

Thanks for the comment and the link. I went to BB and bought one today. P-7805u with battery installed fits into a nicely padded notebook compartment.
