However.. how do I get rid of the:

    (Notice the Vista icon..)

How do I get rid of that so that whenever I click on this shortcut.. it doesn't always ask me for permission?

You have to disable that feature. I forgot what it is called, but the Vista optimization guide here on NBR will tell you.

Its the UAC... User Account Control....

You can disable it (which I don't recommend anyways) or set an exception... cant remember right off my mind now how.. but you could see the permission or security settings of that program to run normally or something.. I dont remember.. something like this.. http://blogs.techrepublic.com.com/window-on-windows/?p=635

*PS., may be you could request a mod to move this thread to Windows OS forum. Better help / quick help possible there :) :) Cheers.

go to control panel--->user accounts--->turn user account control on or off--->disable--->reboot.

    voila! no more UAC!
