I've been noticing that my frame rate will drop from 60 to about 20, causing the game to pause for not even half a second, and return back to 60. It occurs every minute or so, and it's getting annoying.

Any idea what's causing this? My settings are pretty casual; Nothing is set on high and I'm running at 1680x1050. Running laptopvideo2go drivers 180.43.

Turning off Steam and Xfire seemed to help.

****, I like to keep Xfire running.

update you drivers to Dox's 180.44. And install the powermizer switch and turn off powermizer on A/C. So that when the card starts to down throttle it cant so you just get like a little flicker but your FPS stay the same.
