    Hi,
I have been reading all the reviews,etc...for the Gateway notebooks.1st of all I wanted to say one of my concerns when I purchased mine was that I could lock the scrollbar and use a mouse.

All you have to do is go into the control panel under device manager and disable it.I read a couple of comments that some users were happy with their notebook except for this problem.

The other thing I thought I would mention is a quick tool to use that downloads and tells you every single thing about your desktop or notebook.Everything that came installed and all new software/hardware,etc...that is on your PC.This tool does not save your information or pass it on to third parties/afilliates or spam you ever. You can add/remove it in a second, leave the icon on your desktop to check updated information when ever you want to quickly.

I'm mentioning this because I read 2 posts that someones notebook said it came with one thing but the actual notebook shows it is not the correct information.

It's also one of the safest incredible tools around.I'm sure that some of you will have heard of it.

This is my 1st post to any board ever so I'm not sure I can figure out how to make a qick link to click on.Please forgive me.I will read the instructions again.

(http/www.belarc.com) This was posted my 1st day ever posting on on a board like this. I realized after that I should have posted it in a more general area. I was trying to help 2 now 3 people on the Gateway board that I knew this tool would answer their questions. It's still useful to keep in your favorites or wherever. If someone your helping saids that they don't know what they are running ,etc...on their PC. Have them download this and everything's there. I'm leaving it.It should be useful to a few of you. I posted a little apology for feeling like a fool at 1st. [:I]
