Is there any way I can monitor the temps for the RAID 0 setup on HWMonitor??

It's not just a HWMonitor thing, raid array temps cannot be monitored through the operating system

So what you're saying is, Smart info can be monitored (which doesn't help us here), and RAID temps can be monitored, but not Intel RAID temps (which doesn't help us here). So in fact, in relation to the topic at hand, RAID array temps can NOT be monitored, which is basically what we said  . But thanks for the info

If we're going to be that generalistic (with a thread that we both know to be specific to Intel...) then you make it sound like I can just open up MS Word and check my RAID array temps:

Yes, I know what you "meant", but I think you know what I meant as well, and since you seem to be trying to point out that my statement was too generalized, I can just as easily do the same.

But you said I make it sound like RAID temps cannot be monitored regardless of controller. No, that may be the case to someone who gets in the GATEWAY forum on a GATEWAY thread but doesn't have a GATEWAY or doesn't know that Intel controllers are used, but anyone who realizes that I'm answering the question specific to the OP's specs will realize that I'm not talking about a definite answer to the ends of all extremes (rarely will I ever do this). I'm sorry if that's how you interpreted it, but I think to the rest of the people who read it in this gateway section of the forum, my information will be most pertinent. Looking at your info, you might get a few guys who from there try to figure out how to change their controller

I didn't mention Intel controllers because theres no question of what type of controllers the OP has...

I just didn't want Gateway users who didn't know any better to read your post and then start posting such things as "OK, how do I change my RAID controller" when answering them simply "you can't monitor your raid temps" like I did would prevent them from going through the trouble of researching any further. That was my only intent, so if you think I have an attitude problem, I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to troll and didn't mean for my posts to be taken that way.
