    Anyone else having RAID issues?

I setup raid on my computer and the oddest thing. When I went to re-install Vista, the partitions on my 2nd hard drive were still there and full of data. The first hard drive was wiped correctly, but 2nd had everything.

Seems like it's not working properly.

Anyone else have issues with their RAID?

This might have something to do with Acronis, cause Vista sees my hard drives fine, but Acronis True Image sees them as two different hard drives and even sees the 2nd with data still on it. Sucks cause I was hoping for a quick restore process.

I believe that if you use acronis, you have to use the Acronis Restore From Image. Run the process, and at reboot make sure you enter BIOS an change to RAID. Then allow it to boot and hit Ctrl+ I to create your raid array. then let acronis do it's thing. If I remember right, that's the proper way. I could be wrong, so search for something like "7811fx raid acronis image" here in the frums and you will prolly find the same info that I am attempting to convey to you.

You did remember to press Ctrl-I during the reboot when prompted to, yes? When I enabled RAID and rebooted, the CTRL-I prompt was up for only 2 seconds. I missed it the first time. If Vista sees two different drives and Acronis sees all the data on the second drive, then it sounds like you didn't configure the RAID after you enbled it.
