The Gateway P-7811FX laptop has 4gb of RAM...but when i check my system information, it says i only have 2 gb? I'm not an "expert" when it comes to computers so I thought I would come here for some clarification.
    Here's 2 screenshots...any help is appreciated

looks like probably one of your memory sticks is bad or not inserted correctly. Take the large cover off the back and check the 2 sticks of ram there. Should be labeled and 2GB per stick. If not check with who you bought the laptop from.
