Hi all, I'm new member of this forum.

I have problem with my Gateway 7811 FX - it's in original hardware configuration.

I'm encountering problem with RED DOTS on my screen. They are randomly appearing during BIOS starting, loading or work with vista 64bit system and stay permanent. I had this problem 2-3 months ago, and it was solved just by restarting system. Now, neither rebooting nor installing newest NVIDIA drivers for 9800 GTS (7.15.11.7948 - 1/30/2009) worked.
What is a “funny”, problem unexpectedly disappears after few hours.

I tried to check if it's a LCD problem, I took screenshot when I had red dots on screen and after some time, when dots disappeared, I opened screenshot file and I didn't see any of them - so it looks like a problem with LCD, right?

I've found similar problem with other laptop and checking LCD connection to the motherboard was suggested. I don't think this is solution in my case because of random appearing / disappearing nature of problem.

Do U have any suggestions how to deal with this?
