My laptop is constantly using up to 50-55% of my ram just surfing the net, and up to 40-50% of it's ram just sitting idle. Is that normal? How much of your ram does your FX use while sitting idle, or just surfing the internet?

Idling/Browsing should use a max of 1.2GB. 1.08GB for me. It varies a bit. Check if somethings running in the background. If you find anything suspicious use hijackthis to verify what it is.

I checked, nothing seems out of place. I have 95 processes running, they use 43% of my ram, and that translates to 1.71 GB. Anything else I can do, or does any of this seem normal?
