anyone really looked into this enough to know nothing like clockgen etc could
boost cpu? I think you need something like the PLL number or something blah blah, been forever since i used anything like that. My desktop I built is Gigabyte MB and it rocks the OC in bios (plus cool windows OC util also).
I run an e6600 (stock 2.4) at 3.0 for yrs night and day, with total confidence.
I know 7811 bios doenst support it etc. But sometimes you can get a little more out of it. stock clock runs really cool on mine. maybe I should just trade cpu up to P9500? or is p9600 gonna be all that? I dont want the hotter T series. Anyone know if 7811 is gonna support Nehlem mobile when it comes out? ( I think its totally dif socket?)

Anyone know if there is smaller battery avail for 7811? I just weighed the one it comes with. 1.06 lbs.

As far as I know there is no clockgen version that works with our laptops. If someone know the model of the PLL they might be able to get a working version. As it stands now you'll have to upgrade your CPU.
Nehlem won't work in the 7811.
I also seem to recall something about a smaller battery, but I don't remember where.
