    What gateway comp will replace the 7811 other than the other FX on newegg? How long do u it will be until the next legendary" gaming/performance on the budget laptop?

    the new alienwares have it beat, but cost/performance isnt there...at all.

    Lots of laptops have the 7811 beat on performance, but none have it beat on value, with the exception maybe of the old 68xx's which, when bought now, have amazing price/performance ratio (value). It's hard to say if Gateway will ever come out with a laptop that's such a great value, but they have been consistent with it so far.
