    Hello All,

I had to do a restore using the restore disk made when I first got the notebook.

I have three missing drivers in device manager.

    Modem which is a conexant.

Display adapter which is ATi mobility x600.

Also, no sound on the laptop even after installing Reltek AC 97 drivers. Is this tied in with the SM Bus controller problem?

SM Bus controller that I cannot find anywhere. I understand this notebook has a ATi / AMD chipset on the the motherboard. I have searched gateway, ati and amd but have found not chipset driver.

Gateways site only list the wifi driver and the cpu driver.

Anyone have the drivers or know where i can get them?

    You help is always apreciated!

Try one form other MX75XX line...which CPUdo you have? If it's an Athlon64 the ones from MX7515 will fit.
