HELP! I have a gateway MX6027 and I tried re-formatting with the system recovery cd that came with it. Problem is after re-formatting I have no sound or am able to connect to the internet. I have talked online with Gateway tech's and they directed me to a page that had patches which helped with the internet problem, however the patch provided did not work with my audio problem. Conexant_Audio_6.14.10.0565 was the name of the patch they gave me.

Does anyone have any clue how I can get my audio up and running again? The gateway tech's are no help, they keep re-directing me to the same patch.
