The whole time I had this laptop, when I would play an "intensive" game like S.T.A.L.K.E.R, the computer will still be on, but the screen will turn off and I would have to turn off the computer myself. I have tried every driver, undervolting (Just cpu cant find one for an 8800m gts) a cooling mat (which was a targus one) and upgraded the cpu with thermal paste. Another strange thing is that as of right now, my rightmark cpu utility tells me my cpu is at about 35 degrees Celsius while HWmonitor says i'm around 20 degrees  also my gpu idle temp is around 46 degrees, is that good or bad?
Sorry if this post is long but it's been plaguing me for a year now and i need to know if there's any solution.

I have the same laptop and I've experienced this as well. I changed the drivers to ones that were modified by a fellow forum goer.

This is the link that I got the drivers from. They might be a little old but so far I've been able to play Crysis, WoW, Aion, CS: S and some other fps games without a problem. Its only been about a week since I changed the drivers but so far so good :)
