About a week ago I picked up my laptop to use it and I saw something that really freaked me out. My laptop screen was spinning, for lack of a better word. At first I thought I had an arrow button held down because the page just kept scrolling, but then I realized it was the entire screen that was scrolling. Everything, including the task bar, was moving from the top to the bottom, continuously. It was as if it were on a huge wheel. I'm really just looking for help on how to describe this so I can effectively google it for answers or to find out if I'm the only person this has ever happened to. Or if by strange coincidence you know how to fix this problem or at least what the heck is going on, I would appreciate your advice.
If it helps to know I have a Gateway M-6849 running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. It has a Intel Core 2 Duo 2.00 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and a 320 GB hard drive.

I have had a webpage automatically scroll down before, but never my entire screen. Sorry, but I have never had anything like that before. I wish you the best of luck.

I have decided it has something to do with the cable that connects the screen to the laptop because it only does it when it's in a certain position. I'll add that to my list of things to fix on it.
Screen problems...I don't know what to call it
