The screen on my P-171x fx is very nice, no complaints here, and yes there is a noticeable difference between the P-171 fx fx and the P6080fx, in saying that for the price difference, the P-6080 fx is not that bad.

I love the screen on my p 172x fx. crisp and clear. nice high resolution gives me loads of desktop realestate. No problems with the screen really. Only real gripe i have is that i cannot change the refresh rate. The only option is 62 hertz.

How do you like the computer all together? Im looking for a gaming laptop that will be able to play the latest greatest for at least a little while. My first choice is the sager 5263(something like that). But Id have to buy one used. My max is 2000 grand. This seems to be the best option for a new 17 in wuxa with 8800m

I love the Gateway P FX series, they are a great laptop for the money, you can get a P-172x fx for around $1,800.00 for you talk to a Gateway sales rep.

I absolutely love the machine. Great keyboard. Phenomenal screen. touch pad works well. Very responsive and powerful. Great graphics. I shopped around for a long time, and even considered a sager. I am quite pleased with my decision.
