I recently bought a NV7802u, and have what seems like it should be a simple question about the touchpad (this is my first laptop, despite a decent amount of desktop ownership).

Anyway, the NV7802u has a Synaptics touchpad. After plugging in a USB mouse, the touchpad was disabled. That's fine - seems like a good feature. Only, I can't figure out how to re-enable the touchpad. Simply unplugging the mouse doesn't do it, nor does a reboot (without the mouse). In both the device manager and the Synaptics manager app, the touchpad is clearly enabled.
SO....how do I re-enable the touchpad, once I've removed the usb mouse? I had sort of hoped that would happen automatically....

Anyway, I haven't been able to find an answer to this question yet, after an hour of Googling, so please excuse the n00b interruption...

    Thanks.

    Reinstall synaptic driver.

Both touchpad and usb mouse should work simultaneously
