Any 2.5in SATA hard drive is compatible with the 7811, as well any 2.5in SATA SSD.

i would go for the WD no questions asked.

i'm thinking of either getting this now or waiting for at least a WD 500gb 7200rpm model.
i had a question of my own though. whats with the OEM models. do i have to buy any extra cables or something. -
I added the 500gb Scorpio blue for my storage drive and am about to upgrade my system drive to the 500gb 7200.4 seagate momentus: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148374
Personally, I wouldn't bother with RAID because the added heat in a laptop isn't worth the little to no performance increase other than in certain benchmarks. -
okay, now to make the question more specific...what would advise me to get from amazon for 50 or under (i got a $50 gift card)
