for lunch..and I grab something to eat real quick..as I am standing in the kitchen eating my food..I glance over at the desk...and see my laptop sitting there (6860 with t8300)...and I didnt think anything of it...but a few moments later, I take another look at it..and I notice something odd....I walk over to it...and there is cat puke..ALL...OVER IT...it was covered....it was like the cat went to a fiesta..and then came back and exploded....I have never been so mad at a cat in my life...

I had to take it apart and SCRAPE the cat puke off from some of the inside of the laptop...it was crusted all over the place....its working fine...everything seems to be running great still..but....I dont know what to say...*sigh* I quit.

    oh bloody hell...

I'm not sure i wouldnt have beaten that cat like it was a man if i came home to that.

Dont turn it on, but take the battery out and unplug it and then hold down the power button for a few seconds.

Its going to suck but i would disassemble the entier laptop (or at least the contaminated areas) and then get some lectra clean. it will clean electrical parts with out residue and with out damaging them. Try to clean as many surfaces with that as you can.

If you can get the whole lappy apart got for a through clean, but if not at least break the exposed parts down to give them a good cleaning

oh thats way 2 common, you should be more creative and try placing overclocked gpu on high clockss with fan off in the rear of your cat's and see how he can handle that lol. If you gonna do it, make sure some kind of gpu benchmark is on ;)

I thought I had it bad with the cat peeing on the stairs the other week - that takes the cake though!

You don't have some new kitten fur mittens now do you? ;)

that is one nasty cat, but why not close the lid ? it will protect your lappie from cat puke dog sh!t and mice saliva and the highly unlikely dust thing...
