    After months of me deciding on buying a laptop, i went to best buy and bought along with the 2 year plan and a mouse and the router from the flier.

    (i might return the 2 year plan not sure if its worth 200$)

    Anyways i did not open the box yet but i am wondering what to do first?

    What drivers to install?, what stuff to uninstall? And so on.

    I'm assuming you're gonna be using the thing to do some gaming, so you'll probably wanna fire up some games, which will stress the most essential parts of the system and let you know if there are any problems. Also run 3dmark06.

    Unless you want them uninstall the crapware such as Norton 360 trial, Office 07 trial, the gateway big help thing I axed as well. Finding better Nvidia drivers, either the officials or DOX drivers or similar might be advisable.
