    Hey guys and girls,
My name is travis and this is my first time posting on this forum so sorry if i make any mistakes. I am about to get a gateway solo 2150 from 2000 for free from my dad because his new wife decided she needed a new laptop to do her homework. Anyways i asked him to just give it to me seeing i do not have a laptop or the money to buy one right now. My questions are Does anyone know what the highest amount of ram i can install is? , The biggest hard drive also?, How hard would it be to change the processor and what is the fastest one i can put in? and the most important question would it be worth in the end or should i just switch out the hard drive and save for a better laptop? If I did switch all this stuff out i would only use it for a year or so. I am a college kid that has two expensive addictions cars and computers and not a enough money to fund both. Sorry for the long post.
Thanks to anyone that can give me any info.

    Travis
