I have a Solo 9500 that will not connect to my local network via wireless adapter.

I have tried at least three adapters and one USB adapter. I can see the wireless networks in my area as well as my own. But no matter what I do, I cannot connect with any network. The laptop seems not to have a built in Ethernet connector, so I have to use an external adaptor. I am not using a docking station. Windows XP Pro is installed with Service Pack 2 and 512 Meg of Ram.

This may sound like an odd question but, is the Solo 9500 capable of wireless networking without the use of a docking station? What do I need to do to get this laptop to connect to my network and the internet?
