just a few questions... trying to decide between this, m15x, and G1Sn.
1) how is Crysis performance?
a) I care more about Oblivion/Supreme Commander
b) obviously its better than Asus/worse than Alienware
c) I will upgrade the cpu to t9300 within a few days.
2) What is your battery life average? if you read this thread, please just post your average battery life a la quick reply. I would like to build an average.
3) Can I output to two monitors at the same time? (I.E. I close the laptop, and run two independent monitors off of it. But with a 17" this might not be needed... with a 15.4" it is definitely needed.
4) Just to be clear - there is room for 2 hdd's, right?
5) should I get the older model since I will be upgrading the HDD and CPU anyhow, adn use the saved money to buy 4gb of ram? (I have M$ OS keys and media flowing out the wazoo... occupational benefit)

2. if you play games, about one hour. if not, from 2 to 3 hours.
3. never tried, not sure.
4. yes, two hard drive bay.
5. no, they are at the same price currently so why not get the better one? -
games
I'm running Crysis on high, at 1440x900 23 FPS average
Oblivion runs maxed out but has stutter issues that are not the fault of the computer.
Supreme commander works fine maxed out. -
Everquest 2 runs as smooth as silk, thats saying alot, its very cpu intensive.

2:30 hours of battery life?
REP Given out.
not bad at all. this is a glorious laptop indeed. I need to do a little more research.
I am still incredibly curious about the monitor question. does anyone know the answer? -
thank you for the rep
and for the monitor question, i only see one monitor port on the right side of the laptop. and yeah, it's 17" 1440*900 resolution.
