like many, i decided to do a clean reinstall of v ista 64. as part of the latest bb sale, i had the gaming optimization done by thier geek squad just for the hell of it. Everything ran great afterwards but that dreaded norton pop ups got the best of me and i reinstalled, doing a recovery backup first.

    My questions are:

    1. i installed all drivers from the recovery, plus any windows update suggested. gateway's support lacks for 64 drivers, anything else i should get, i.e. from OEM websites?

    2. i noticed before the reinstall, whenever i used the Fn keys to enable/disable lets say, bluetooth, i would get a popup message from the taskbar. i no longer get that, does anyone know what program/driver that could be.

    3. is there any bundled app from the recovery disk that is worth installing?

    4. with the recovery disk(s)... if i were ever to want to go back to the exact state BEFORE the reinstall...would it be possible?
