Ok - I upgraded to Windows 7 - and have updated most drives. I downloaded the HD audio with the neswest Nvidia driver. Now my speaker icon has a red X next to it.

When I hoover over it, it says; no speakers or headphones are plugged in.

According to Device Manager; under sound I have NVIDIA High Definition Audio (driver 1.1.9.0).

    What are you guys using???

Sounds like you then have a few issues? In device manager what devices are not functioning?
