I was wondering if I should get a Razer Piranha considering the sound card on the P-6831FX is just an integrated one. I'm just curious as to whether or not the headset would actually be utilized to its full capacity despite the lack of a dedicated sound card.

I don't think it's possible to buy a dedicated sound card and install either right?

But I can tell you that I have been using 2 different sets of headphones with this laptop, one a noise cancelling set of bose and the other a new set of sony wireless ones. They both sound great with the stock soundcard. very clear. whether or not the piranha's would sound any better I wouldnt know but the onboard sound is not bad at all. not a $2000 sound setup mind you, but nice nonetheless.
