    Spare battery for P-7811FX?

    Are there any spare batteries available for the P-7811FX? Neither Gateway nor Best Buy have them. Neither does Tiger Direct. Or does any any universal rechargable battery work with the P-7811? Found several that are supposedly 'universal' but don't work with Gateway machines. This shouldn't be a difficult thing to find. Someone on a long flight might want more than 2-3 hours of computer time.

    call the number in my signature and explain to them your dire necessity for a spare or new battery. you will need to have a good story as to why you need a new one

    Thanks Jakamo5, they directed me to www.mundocorp.com and I found the battery no problem. Why this isn't advertised more I have no idea, but you saved me.

    That is the 6cell, while the 7811 is shipped with a 9cell. There is no problem with the 6, other than the battery life will be really reduced. Just want to give you the heads up.
