    Core V2s are not 'Junk'. I have one working great and it has exceeded my expectations. Been using it for over 3 months.

    However the Vertex series IS better and is worth the extra $.

    BTW its not a SSD Drive, its a Solid State Drive. SS Drive, not SSD Drive (Which would be a Solid State Drive Drive).

    The core v2 is a Jmicron drive I believe. While OCZ does get kudos for working their @sses off to make the drives perform well, the underlying tech is crap. I had a core v2 and it almost turned me off of SSDs. While I haven't had personal experience with the Intel SSDs, from what I read they're almost an entirely different product. Unless you specifically need the v2, I don't know why you'd get it over the vertex, the price difference for 30gb is $10 on newegg.
