Hi, I am considering to buy a X9100 cpu as an upgrade for my P7809u, and would like to know if anyone have and what are some stable overcloking for both the cpu and the video card, also post the temps, driver and software used on the overclock. And I am after a ssd too, the question is which one is better to buy first the cpu or the ssd? I really apreciate the help.

my X9100 is stable at 3.7GHz @ 1.362v. Pushing for 3.8GHz or even 3.9GHz but i dont think my cooling will handle it too well.

GPU OCed to a modest 700/900/1700

i can do a stable 3.9GHz on 1.45v (havent tried undervolting) but any CPU intensive tasks cause temps to sky-rocket - approx 98C to 102C. 7805u auto shuts down as a result.

it gets nowhere near the Intel specified failsafe of 120C for the X9100 so i'll see what i can do to bypass it.

i'd personally go for a decent SSD before upping the CPU.
