Just wondering if anyone else here is playing the SC2 Beta on their 6860fx. What are the graphic settings you have currently setup on your machine and how is it running? I'm sorta forced to play everything in low settings in order to maintain a smooth gameplay.

I've got a P-7805u and can run SC2 Beta on max settings very easily. I know the game only uses 1 core, so maybe your processor isn't powerful enough.

I think you may be on the mark there. I do have the stock CPU which is not really the best. I'm wondering if upgrading to a Intel 9300 will help. Anyone here with the 9300 upgrade has any experience with this?

I run with the 9300 on an otherwise stock one with everything maxed out and I only get a slowdown once in awhile.
