I got My P 6860 fx a couple of weeks ago. I used it on Vista 64 until earlier this week. Steam worked on it ok, but had some glitches and seemed slower. Well due to a few programs that I needed on my computer, but would not work (due to Vista64). I installed the Vista32 bit version and Steam is much more resonsive. On Vista 64 I kept getting connection to server errors continuosly, trying to play online games. But, I didn't get even one connection problem on Vista32. It also appears to be faster at connecting to servers and even ingame. I don't have actual numbers to give, this is just a personal observation.

I am using Vista x64 and Steam and I just put my IP address outside of my routers firewall and that cleared up all of my NAT issues and I have a clean NAT 3 connection.

No issues with Steam for me... I've only installed the Orange box so far, but all the games and networks are running fine... I'm running Vista x64 of course.

I am using Vista 64 bit as well and Steam as well as all of my Valve products are working excellent.I am currently using the P-6831FX model. The model prior to the one you are reffering to but it runs great on my machine as well.
"Steam" works better on Vista 32 on P6860 FX
