Ok Ive been browsing around the forums and see alot of people complaining about hissing coming from their power brick, some say it is due to not being capable of providing the computer with the power it is trying to draw. People are also saying that this can hurt your performance. So I am wondering if their is anyone who has gotten a better aftermarket power brick and noticed any performance gains, no hissing, or power brick not super hot? If you have 3Dmarks before and after it would be much appriciated.

As for me I had a 6860, and now have a 7805u and both power brick have hissed since I had them, and neither has broken. Had the 6860 for over a year and a half.

Again, don't have one, but I read about a guy on here or another place that he noticed hissing. I don't think it affected anything, but he got a new one, and there wasn't any problems.
