Just curious, how hard is it to actually swap out the processor from the stock laptop from bestbuy with a T9300 or 9500?

Guess what i'm trying to ask is, is it doable for someone who has never taken apart a laptop before? Is it even worth it?

its totally worth doing, my 3dmark score jumped nearly 2,000 points. The T5450 is really what slows the notebook down. All you need is a size 1 philips head screwdriver, a small flathead, some rubbing alchohol to clean the heatsink , and some thermal compound. really only takes about 10 minutes to remove, clean and install new cpu.

yeha should only take 10 minutes....go for the T9300, best price/performance ratio imo.
