Installed a T9900 in my P-7811-FX. CPUID is reporting the "core speed" as 798.0 MHz with a multiplier of 3, bus speed of 266.0 and FSB of 1063.9.
    Do these specs sound right?

It is if you're not in High Performance mode in Windows. The multiplier is probably lowering to save power. To test if it's working properly run Orthos and see if the multiplier goes up. To check if you're in high performance mode click the battery+outlet symbol in the taskbar?

You're right; it does go up under load to over 3000 MHz. It was running in "balanced" mode too. Thanks for the help.
