Ok here is the deal, I want to take apart my P172s Fx, the problem is I can't seem to figure it all out. I know some one has done this before. I want to just ripp into it, but I know the dire consequences! You know what i mean!

What I really am looking for is sort of a guide to opening up the body of my precious little baby, without killing it or marring it all up. So any help would be good!

One of the main reasons I want to take it apart is for upgrading! I know there has to be a place that sells the new 7811 fx motherboard, that ddr3 I just gots ta have! Plus I found out that there are other PCIe express slots open in there! I just want to find out more about the guts of this Awesome machine, plus I want to clean the GPU fan and heat sink. So Help me please.

just get a better cpu, you'll get much better performance boost than the ddr3.

if not sell it and get a 7811 seems like a better idea.

not to mention i doubt you'll find that mobo and that the total cost of the upgrade (mobo, ram, 1066mhz cpu, optical drive) will be hardly worth it.

as to cleaning the gpu stuff, a can of compressed air should do just fine.
