I got my Targus power supply a day ago. It works fine, and it stays cool, but it does something weird. When I open a new browser, or scroll down a page, or sometimes even scroll over a button, it'll make a little noise. Not that bad, but is it normal for it to be doing this?

Bump. C'mon, this isn't a difficult question. If you have the supply for one of the p series notebooks, does it sometimes make noises when opening browsers or scrolling around pages.

I might need to send it back then. The noises are getting louder too. I could barely hear them at first, but now I hear them from across the room.

And I would be fine with it being haunted, as long as the ghost isn't doing anything that could potentially damage it. I don't know if the noises are the result of a serious problem or not, but I have a history of power supply problems, and I think I'm going to nip this one in the bud.

If it were me I would send it back. When it comes to power packs better safe then sorry. last thing you would want is a fried battery or computer, or even worse a fire.

Yeah, that's true, but I didn't want to over-react. If it's normal for it to make noise, then it wouldn't really be a problem. The noise itself is actually less annoying than the buzz the stock 120W adapter made.

Normally they shouldn't make any noise what so ever. So if yours is. Yea, Send it back you might have just gotten one that doesn't like you because of your hair color.

I just received mine last week. It made a popping noise within the first minute of use. RMA'd it and sent it back out the next day :( Hopefully, they'll send me one that works

Where did you guys order the adapters from.

I ordered one last week from deal surprise and I'm hoping I don't get a crappy one.
