    Well it has been a week since I ordered my p-171sfx and the estimated arrival date is still 3/11.....Yes I am impatient, but theres only so much reading you can do about it daily before you lose it :)

    Anyone have any insight as to if we will be actually waiting the full term or if they are going to ship any sooner?

    I ordered my P-171X FX Edition notebook on 1/31/08. My rep mention that it should be shipped by 2/22/08, but I am NOT holding out that I will recieve it from Gateway until mid-March.

    Ya, I was told the same date too march 11 ordered mine on Feb 08 still waiting I did get my T9300 now I am just waiting for the laptop got a 171X FX.

    If I could afford the extra cash for the Penyryn and had it in hand, I would be picking up the Best Buy version on Sunday for $1199 and cirumventing the waiting process :)

    me too...plus I think the processor in the S version will be just fine for now. And for some reason I really want the slot loaded dvd drive :p

    I'm not too sure myself, but it seems like Gateway keeps changing the estimated shipping date on their website. Yesterday it was February 21st and now it changed to March 13th... I'm not too sure what they're waiting for...

    Has anyone move from "Processing" to "In Production" on the order status page? My order has been stuck in "Processing" for almost three weeks. What is your order status?

    Mine still says Processing here. And the estimated arrival date hasnt changed for me. Still March 11th. :(
