Well, I was going to post the link, but the forum nazi software is preventing me from doing it because I don't have enough internets.

Look in CompUSA's site under Refurbished Laptops, then Maker/Gateway Renovation Group - it's the only one there.

I already have one from the last sale, and I just got a 7811 yesterday or I'd buy another one for sure. My refurb 6860 came perfect in every way - not a scuff, scratch or dead pixel. I'm kind of wishing I hadn't bought the 7811 now lol- wait, no I'm not :D

The most popular CPU I see for the 6860 is either a T9300 2.5ghz Penryn or a T8300 2.4ghz. I have a 6860 and I have been watching the prices like a hawk lol.

That deal isn't that good. A month and 1/2 ago I got a P-6860FX for $711 brand new. But the thing is they were sold out in like 2 days. I guess i was lucky lol.

Edit: Guess i should say i got mine from Best Buy.

Well, if you can't get it for 711.00, 816.00 is the next best thing. You aren't going to find any other 17" laptops with all of this hardware and all this upgradeability (and I include almost fully supporting Windows XP 32-bit as an upgrade :D ) for 800 bucks, even refurbed.

    ...they were gone pretty fast.

Add a x7800 for $250 and you have a pretty extreme notebook for about a grand.
