Since this is a pretty good laptop and cheap I was thinking aboutong getting it. Since the graphis card isn't that good, I was thinking about upgrading to 1.5 gigs when I get it. Also the graphics card is 64 mbs shared memory is there a way to like overclock it ot 128 mb of shared memory? Also I was wondering what kinda games would the laptop be able to handle if it had 1.5 gigs of ram?

i do not think so since it is intergrated graphics

For a company that's edging closer and closer to being a questionable going concern and the stock price racing to ZERO, I would be reluctant to plunk down 1K on a machine that has a mediocre build, horrid tech support and might not get supported at all in a year's time.
And no, you wouldn't be able to OC an integrated GPU, even with 1.5gb ram it's not going to make much of a difference in terms of gaming performance. -
What kinda games can i expect to play with the laptop?
-
What kind of games are you hoping to play? If you're hoping to play the latest like Oblivion or BF2, forget it it's not going to. If your expectations are much lower, like GTW's, than it can probably manage WOW or definitely solitaire.

Just to clarify: OverClocking is about Mhz, not MB
You can use your BIOS setting to set more shared memory to your graphics card, and also use ATIs Hypermemory to benefit from some dynamic memory use (also from RAM) if needed.
In terms of overclocking, I don't thing you can overclock an integrated graphics chipset like the X200.
Would also recommend to go at least 1GB of RAM, since the HDD is only 4200RPM...the less you use it, the better. If you have luck you will find a 5400RPM HDD instead...as I was surprised when I got my MX7515. -
Also to be noted the USB2.0 on this machine is crap. You'll be able to use perriferals such as mouse's but when it comes to storage devices like USB2.0 HDD or UBS2.0Key's MP3 players you'll notice HORRIBLE transfer speeds and in some cases it doesn;t event work. As mentioned above the 4200rpm HDD is terrible, I have the Mx7525 and I too am stuck with the 4200 hdd. I didn't think I would notice a diff between a 5400rpm drive, but you do!.
My mx7525 was my first laptop, wont be my last, but diffenatly will be my last gateway.
Thinking about getting the Gateway MX7118
