To all FX series users, are you getting these?

    - AC adapter plugged in, brightness level set lowest, restart computer = brightness level highest.

    - AC adapter plugged in, brightness level set to lowest, unplugged AC adapter and plug it back in = brightness level highest.

Why can't the laptop remember your settings? I have to dim the brightness everytime I restart my computer.

It's just what a lot of laptops do. You could go into power options and change it so that it's always on lowest (if that's what you want). And is it really a big deal. It takes like literally 1 second. lol, I can even change it from dimmest to brightest with only my right pinky.

True, it's not too big a of a deal. I thought I may have missed out on a driver or something that control this behavior.

Can you not go into control panel then hardware and sound, and then click on power options and then click on adjust display brightness, set the display brightness to 50% or whatever?
