Well the distance away doesn't matter as much as the expected delivery date. I've had plenty of packages arrive at the distribution center an hour away only for them to wait there several days for the date to arrive. :(

I didn't want to because I have to prepare for the university admittance test. But I will play some Half Life 2 Ep. 2 soon.
The test is on 2 months and a half. But I have to take it seriously.

Are you putting in another HDD or SSD? It's nice that they give the choice of adding another drive

i have about $500 paypal (play money) left so, i'm probably going to concentrate on the Blu-Ray and Bluetooth before i do the SSD (both of those for around $110.00)...when Windows 7 comes out i'm hoping the SSD prices will drop a bit more and i can buy one as my primary boot drive (maybe 2). Waiting for Windows 7 because i'm not really in the mood to reload twice between now and October (once for a new SSD and then again to reload Windows with 7).

Btw, copied over my Obilivion from another computer, seems to be working fine, just have to rearrange the save files (and figure out whether 8x AA looks better than HDR). Also really tired of having to leave the Obilivion CD in to play so might try and find a NO-CD .exe to use.

Oh, TrackManiaNations and United work great as well

Why do you need Bluetooth? I can't believe the SSD prices! Even if they are amazing.

Do you know a laptop cooler for the laptop under 25CAD?

Bluetooth mainly for true wireless mouse capability..i really don't like those usb devices that tend to get broken after a bit, plus one less USB port being used. I'm using the Rosewill 17 cooler, i got it for around $39.99 US with free shipping.

there's a cooling thread where people hash out which cooler is best, and some say it's not even needed. Up to you really. If you're going to be doing many hours of intense gaming i would think it wouldn't hurt to have a cooler dispersing some of that hot air.

Got my laptop today and I think I have the 1920x1200 one. I went to the print and details to see and it came up showing that.

I am going to test Oblivion out on the 1400 res though.

grats on the 1920x1200....i would think on some games though the ingame HUD would be too tiny in 1920x1200...i have a couple games where they're too tiny on a 24" screen.

I used a label flash disc for my driver recovery. Pretty nice being able to make nice laser etched graphics to really make a recovery disc stand out
