Hey guys. I've been racking my brain the last few days trying to set up my brand new P6860FX with XP. I followed the guide on neonpulse to make the swap (had some problems finding the website last night but went ahead and completed the driver installations from the referenced guide).

At any rate, I'm finding that my USB ports do not function. They were fine until I installed the chipset referenced in Tinman's guide. Then nada. I've tried to find drivers on my own but to no avail as I'm not actually a very computer savy person when it comes to what makes what work. Any ideas on this issue? I'm assuming its a driver or chipset driver issue but I have no idea where to start looking besides the dead-ends I've already followed.

I have not actually. I'm assuming I want the "INF Update Utility primarily for 4, 3, 900 series" I find when I select XP home edition as my operating system. I will download and see where it gets me. I appreciate the response.

Well I installed the above recommendation but I am still showing 7 unknown component listings with the title "USB Root Hub" and the mouse still is not recognized in any USB slot. I have even installed the mouses drivers as well which would seem to rule out a faulty mouse.
