I was wondering what was directly under the speakers.... I had an 'accident' and spilled soda all into them. It happened too fast for me to pull the plug. It wouldn't turn on for a few days, but then it started working. Everything seems fine, except the sound volume touchpad has gotten a lot harder to move. I did have a Best Buy warranty I was planning to return the laptop for, but I doubt they'd give me anything, especially since it's working (apparently) fine now.

Anyone who opened the case up know?

I thought it would've calcified and fried all the components by now :p

Unless you have a accidental warranty they will not fix it, and you can only "exchanged" it for a different one in under 14 days.
