It came with 512mb and I'd like to put 2 gigs in there. But when I opened up the back cover, I only found an empty slot there, and the manual makes no mention of where the other stick might be. Anyone have any ideas?

Also, would I be better off getting a ddr533 with 4 cas latency or would ddr 333 with 2.5 cas latency be better?

CPU-Z reports that it has a 512 pc 2700 stick installed.

    Thanks bunches :)

the other one is buried inside the chassis

all you will be able to do is get 1.5MB unless you dismantle the laptop to get at the other slot

OK, that sounds like major surgery :(

Which memory should I get? PC2700 with 2.5 CAS Latency or PC4200 with 4.0 CAS Latency?

I ask because the PC4200 is about $30 or so a stick cheaper.
